OUR MISSION
The Derambez Morgan Foundations goal and focus is to provide education, knowledge on the impacts and statistics of
Gun Violence to our society today. Create resources for everyone with an open-door policy to communicate what is working,
opportunities for what is not working and strategic effective changes that will provide the improvement for Gun Violence that we are seeking.
The Derambez Morgan's Foundation', "Let's Talk" Seminars will allow open conversation and dialogue for
adults and youth to talk and communicate about some of the ways to prevent and improve Gun Violence.
More education the strategies that are working, pros and cons of Gun Violence, provide resources for our
youth to have safe outlets to share concerns, teach conflict resolution techniques and sure they make the
right decision if in a Gun Violence situation. Our teenagers and young adults being a part of
preventing and improving the Gun Violence National Crisis, is the only way we will see the Change.
Make recommendations for laws that will help with the fight against Gun Violence. Blocking internet ghost sales without proof of background check, license to carry and a registered gun. Require more provisions restrictions for safety when purchasing guns at
Gun Shows. Change the legal age of gun ownership to 25 years and older.

Where do we start can start by talking to each other and getting to the Root Cause of the issue. We don't have time for more years of research before a Solution is obtained, we have to use the people, resources, data and information we have readily available to take action now.

Dorothy Duncan, Mom's Demand Action - SC
South Greenville Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is happy to announce that Everytown for Gun Safety approved our $1500 grant
recommendation for our community partner, Derambez Morgan Foundation
(Guardian Angels for Gun Violence).
We salute Melice Morgan Jones’ work to
honor her son who was murdered at work by an act of
gun violence. The foundation helps prevent gun violence through education, communication, resources, solutions, and advocation for stronger gun laws to protect our communities. The annual Dress for Success event recognizes students striving to better themselves and awards two scholarships. The
foundation also holds a “Let’s Talk” seminar for organizations working to end gun violence in the Greenville area.
